If you mention container storage most people will think about having their goods stored in standard 20ft shipping containers. This is not something we do or recommend at Appleyards of Beverley. The original idea of containerised storage in the removals industry was to have this process carried out outside your property.
To reduce handling your household effects by 200% Appleyards will send a vehicle loaded with the correct number of large wooden storage containers on it to accommodate the whole of your home. As the items are being loaded they are inventoried and once the doors are closed on each unit ideally they will not be opened (unless requested) until the van arrives outside your new home. A forklift is used to take them off and put them back onto our vehicle from our modern warehouse.
